Die 5 coolsten Veranstaltungen diese Woche in Wien.

1/ Thursday Special: Gratis Konzert (Thur 20-22h - Free)

In der Superbude im 2. gibt es mal wieder ein gratis Konzert von Jolphine (Indie). Wer also einen gemütlichen Donnerstagabend mit einem Drink und Live Musik haben möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Alternativ gibt es am Donnerstag auch die Lange Nacht des Schreibens. Infos dazu hier.

2/ Exhibition: Protest Architecture (Fr-Sun, 10-18h - €15)

In der Ausstellung geht es um die räumlichen Aspekte von Protestkulturen. Im Zentrum stehen politische Bewegungen, die sich im öffentlichen Raum manifestiert und spezifische Architekturen und Designobjekte hervorgebracht haben.

3/ Pflanzenmarkt (Thu - Sat 10-18h - Free)

Beim großen Pflanzenmarkt im Cape10 gibt es günstig Pflanzen für den beginnenden Frühling zu erstehen. Pflanzenpreise beginnen sogar schon bei 90 Cent!

4/ Säcondhänd (Fr, Sat - 15 -19h - Free)

Am Freitag und Samstag gibt es einen coolen Secondhand Markt in der Semmelweisklinik. Vielleicht nicht der größte oder bekannteste Flohmarkt, aber dafür in einem coolen Gebäude - der Semmelweisklinik!

5/ Chocolate Festival (Fr - Sun 10-18h - €16)

Mit Konzerten, Workshops, einem Kinderprogramm und natürlich ganz viel Schokolade bietet das Chocolate Festival eine super Möglichkeit den Traum des Beach Bodies für eine weitere Woche zu verschieben und stattdessen ein paar Köstlichkeiten zu genießen!

Neben dem Chocolate Festival gibt es übrigens auch den sehr populären Edelstoff Winter Markt für junges Design der auch in der Marx Halle stattfindet.

The 5 best events in Vienna this weekend.

1/ Thursday Special: Free Concert (Thur 20-22h - Free)

At the Superbude in the 2. district, there is a free concert by Jolphine. Music direction is Alternative / Indie. So if you want to enjoy a relaxed drink and listen to some live music, this is the place to be.

2/ Exhibition: Protest Architecture (Fr-Sun, 10-18h - €15)

This exhibition explores the different physical spaces of protest culture, especially focusing on political movements and how they manifest through architecture and design.

3/ Green Market (Thu - Sat 10-18h - Free)

At this event, it’s all about buying cheap indoor plants! With prices as low as 90 cents, you can maybe find something that helps get a feeling of spring into your apartment? 🙂 

4/ Säcondhänd (Fr, Sat - 15 -19h - Free)

This Friday and Saturday there will be a second hand market in the Semmelweisklinik. I haven’t been to this one before but I know the location is pretty cool as the Semmelweisklinik is an old hospital complex.

5/ Chocolate Festival (Fr - Sun 10-18h - €16)

The chocolate festival offers concerts, a dedicated children program, workshops and of course a whole lot of chocolate. If you are willing to postpone your ambitions for that beach body for just another week, then maybe this is a good option? 🍫 

At the same venue and more or less at the same time there is also one of Vienna’s most known markets for young design/designers. So if chocolate is not your thing, this is definitely a great option. You can get the info here.
