Der Frühling hat Einzug gehalten und mit bis zu 25 Grad dieses Wochenende habe ich die Empfehlungen etwas umgestellt und ein paar Empfehlungen, die Draußen sind, mitaufgenommen. Frohe Ostern! 🐰

1/ Thursday Special: Funk Session (Thu 20-24h - €15)

Am Donnerstagabend gibt es im Loft gleich 2 Funk/-Jazz Konzerte von 2 spannenden Bands. Im Anschluss an die Konzerte gibt's eine Jamsession - Bring your instruments, the stage is yours! ❤️

2/ Frühlingswirbel (Thur 14-17:45 - Free)

Zur Abwechslung nehme ich mal eine Veranstaltung für alle Eltern auf die am Donnerstag was mit ihren Kindern unternehmen möchten. Direkt vor dem Rathaus gibt es nämlich diesen Donnerstag ein cooles Festival mit Theater, einer Zaubershow und einem Mitmachkonzert.

3/ Rooftop Music (Fr 19-22h - Free)

Im Zoku kann man diesen Freitag nicht nur gemütlich Cocktail trinken und den Blick über den Prater genießen, sondern kann währenddessen auch noch Live Musik von der österreichischen Singer/Songwriterin ‘Lisa’ genießen.

4/ Pflanzenfüralle (Thur - Sat 10-19h - Free)

Im Cape10 gibt es wieder einen der beliebten Pflanzenmärkte. Wer seine Wohnung (oder Garten) also noch für den Frühling rüsten möchte, kann hier sehr preiswert eine Vielzahl an Pflanzen erstehen!

5/ Rax Wanderung (Whole Weekend - ~€20)

Bei bis zu 25 Grad dieses Wochenende und einer Stadt die, bedingt durch Ostern, etwas langsamer ist als normalerweise, bietet sich eine Wanderung in der Nähe Wiens an!

Sehr empfehlenswert ist hierbei ein Ausflug auf die Rax. Dort kann man zwischen verschiedenen Entfernungen entscheiden und bei schönem Wetter hat man eine tolle Aussicht!

Spring really started and with up to 25°C, I included a couple of extra events in the outdoors! Of course, I also added some parties for Sunday as Monday is a public holiday!

1/ Thursday Special: Funk Session (Thu 20-24h - €15)

Are you a fan of jazz and funk? If so, definitely check out the funk sessions at ‘The Loft’. Not only will you get two concerts from different bands but afterwards there will be a jam session.

So you can either bring your one instrument and join in or just listen to some other musicians!

2/ Frühlingswirbel (Thur 14-17:45 - Free)

For a change I am including an event for children as a lot of you have requested it! 🙂

This Thursday, right in front of Rathaus, there will be a children’s festival with theater, a magic show and a small concert.

3/ Rooftop Music (Fr 19-22h - Free)

This Friday there will be another free live concert at Zoku. Next to the music by the Austrian singer and songwriter ‘Lisa’ you will be able to enjoy some cocktails and a nice view over the Prater!

4/ Pflanzenfüralle (Thur - Sat 10-19h - Free)

'Pflanzenfüralle’ translates to ‘plants for everyone’. This is a market in the 10th district at Cape10 offers a pretty big variety of plants for a very affordable price. So if your house is still in winter mode, you should check out this market!

5/ Rax Hike (Whole Weekend - ~€20)

With up to 25 degrees this weekend, the outdoor season has really started again. One of the best parts about living in Vienna is that you are very close to pretty cool nature spots.

One of them is the Rax which is about 1,5 hours from Vienna and perfect for day trips. You can pick between various routes and decide how long you want to hike. Either way, in the end you will be able to reward yourself with an awesome view and some decent food!
